Pins @ checkin?

Do you still receive trading pins at checkin? We haven't been since 2004 and we received them then. We leave in less than 2 weeks and my wife, son, and I all are gearing up for some pin trading.

we didn't get any last year. I wouldn't get their hopes up too high about getting pins at check in this year

No pins when checking in. Been many times since 2003 & no pins. Think they did away with that.

They used to give you Magical Express pins, but not any more.

I think that giving pins at check in would be a brilliant idea as that might spark some lanyard and pin sales for people who want to begin trading during the trip.

We haven't gotten any pins a checkin for a long time. I think the last time we had some type of package where we got them.

We have been 5 times in the last 4 years and have only received pins once when we took the magical express to our resort. That was the only time for us.

We had vouchers for free Magical Express pins when we booked our package through Disney in 2006, but didn't get vouchers in 2007 (or 2008). And we didn't receive them at check-in, we redeemed the vouchers in the resort gift shop.

And yes, it got my DD8 intersted in pin trading and was the start of a very expensive habit!

The front desk CMs are allowed to wear lanyards so you can trade with them but there are no free pins.

I've never heard of free pins at check-in. I'm thinking about the cost of this. Dang!

When Disney was partner with American Express you got two pins when you check in but this was years ago.

DS got some Mickey stickers at CSR check-in last summer. No pins.

We recieved pins from the years 2000 and 2001 at check in. They were part of the package deal from The Walt Disney World Travel Company. Now they offer vouchers and travel tags with the package.

That's correct and I think you only got the two pins and the lanyard if you used an American Express card at check-in.
