Pins and needles-y legs

So this is completely random, but my right leg from the knee down has been tingly and feeling like pins and needles all day. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I'm trying not to be a hypochondriac, but the only "diagnoses" I can find online are either diabetes or MS. I'm fairly certain these are not the cases, but I can't seem to figure out what's wrong. I know most of you aren't doctors, but does anyone have any ideas?

Could it be restless leg syndrome?

Or, if you've been doing a new cardio routine (elliptical, rowing, etc.) could you have pinched a nerve or something? I know that if DH goes a little crazy with the weights or on the elliptical he'll do something funky to a nerve or muscle and have similar symptoms for a while.

Yeah, pinched nerve was my first instinct.

pinched nerve was my first reaction. DH's dad got that when he slipped a disk in his back too.

I get it in my fingers when I type a long time and my chair is in the wrong position. It is a nerve not carpal tunnel.

Thanks for the input! I looked up "pinched nerve" on the Mayo Clinic's Web site and it sounds pretty spot-on.

It's feeling less pins and needles, and more just plain numb today. Most of the pain is gone, it just feels kind of tingly to the touch. I can walk fine because it's just the shin area - my knee and below the ankle are totally fine. It's just such a weird feeling!
