Has anyone used it? My daughter loved Lilo's Playhouse at WDW- is this comparable? We're going during a time that includes her brother's 19th birthday and we might want to take him on a grown up dinner if she's going to be happy there.

My kids went there a couple weeks ago, at their request. It was the first daycare-ish thing we've done at a Disney park, though, so I can't compare to others. It wasn't an elaborately themed facility or anything. Mine are 7 and 10 and really just wanted a break from the parks, I think. The 10yo saw the foosball/air hockey (for some reason I can't remember which it was??) table, etc and wanted to go. They did that and played video games, did crafts, and that seemed like it. They had a little stage, so they clearly were ready for a larger crowd for more planned activities, but my kids were the ONLY ones there and were older - so free reign to do whatever they wanted (fine by me). Maybe later in the evening it gets more crowded, but the staff told me it was "hit or miss" generally. You can have them order dinner from room service, wasn't a bad deal, plus they offer snacks (included with the hourly fee). My kids seemed to enjoy themselves enough, but they weren't dying to go back, it would seem - no one asked the next day to go again. The 10yo would have complained immensely if she thought it was awful, so while it's not that exciting - it's a decent enough option. If you're able to check it out in advance, take your daughter there early into your trip. You can see through the windows easily, which is why my daughter wanted to go and check it out. We went in and looked around. Same-day reservation wasn't an issue (just allow for paperwork time!).

DS 8 considers it an important part of the vacation. It's "his" time while mom and dad enjoy the chef's counter at Napa Rose. They offer dinner (additional fee) and are able to get him a gluten free meal. They also take them out to see the fireworks. Call and see if they can email you the paperwork ahead of time so you can fill it out before hand. It will save a lot of time, especially if you have a reservation. We only have 1 child, so a little time with "just kids" is good for our son when we go to Disney. We will likely start taking one of his friends with us next year. The life of an only child...

Great to know- I was thinking about this for my 8 year old while I wander Disney alone for the very first time. I've heard checking out the park solo is amazing.

DS has gone to both Pinocchio's Workshop and Simba's Cubhouse and they seemed to be quite similar, I think the only difference is that dinner was included at Simba's and was extra at Pinocchio's.

Our friend's sons enjoy PW so much that they cry when it's time to go home. They have a great time and Mom and Dad have a nice dinner alone. Everyone's happy.

My 7 yo was the only one there when we left her for our anniversary dinner at the Napa Rose. She had a blast because she had 3 adults to give her all the attention. I felt bad when I first left her because I was hoping she'd have a kid to play with, but she didn't care in the least. I would have no hesitation leaving her there again.
