Pinocchio's Workshop Closing

Forgive me if this is old news.

My sister just called to reserve space for her kids at Pinocchio's Workshop on March 12. She was told that PW is closing on March 11. She asked if it was part of the renovation, and she was told yes, but at the moment there are no plans or dates for it to be reopened.

Ruins her "adults night out" plans, and I'm guessing she won't be the one disappointed.

Well that is too bad. It was a nice service for parents. One thing your sister could try is to contact the GCH concierge as most high-end hotels have referrals for local on-call "nanny agencies" that parents can contract with for an evening. They are reputable agencies and know the hotel well and the hotel knows them.

Wow, that's too bad, though to be honest I'm not sure how well it was used. My nephews have been going the last couple of years, since the youngest was able to go, and a lot of the time, even on a Saturday night, they were the only kids in the place. The first time there were two other kids, and I don't remember any last November. I assume there's more use in the summer and other high seasons, though.

Well that's a bummer! My kid enjoyed being the only kid w/ 2 adults at her disposal She was looking forward to going again. Hrm. That would mess up my plan to have an anniversary evening out with the hubby
