Everytime my wife and I come to Disneyland it is in September and it is to celebrate our aniversary (honeymooned at GC). Now that we have children we bring them as well as a birthday gift since they are both mid to late August boys. Last year I had inlaws that could watch the boys so the wife and I could go out, this year we don't have that.

So my question is in regard to Pinocchio's Workshop. Has anyone used it and do they have flexibilty? My oldest will be 5, but my youngest will only be 4. I'm hoping they may let my 4 year old in becuase his brother is in there.

That was what my wife said, but I just assume they would give me a base answer. Hoping for some past experience feedback.

People always say they look like twins, maybe I could slip the youngest in... :P

They were quite firm with friends of mine. I would suggest Fullerton Child Care. Friends have been very happy with their service.

Your 4-year old may be fully potty trained and 2-years ahead with her speech, making her more qualified for the workshop than some 5 and 6 year olds. HOWEVER, all they have to do is ask the child how old they are and your idea is shot to smithereens. The only way to get over that is to teach your daughter to lie - a very bad idea. Obviously we don't want to teach our children to lie but it also makes them doubt their ability to trust YOU. I'm all for them lowering the age limit, but, since they haven't, console yourself that next year will be different. We used a Disneyland babysitting service (not run by Disney, but targeted to DL guests) for our 2-year old. They were trustworthy and great.

I was being facetious.

I'll be looking into other options, but other than Disney there are not many other places my wife and i would feel comfortable leaving them.

No, they are definitely NOT flexible! I learned this the hard way. Tried to take my kids there, made the reservation and everything. I gave them the kids' ages (5 and 9), not thinking much of it. Then when we arrived, we had to fill out some forms listing birthdates. My youngest was actually turning 5 THE NEXT DAY and they refused to take her! I kid you not. Her birthday is the day after our anniversary, so we had planned a grownup evening out to celebrate -- we had reservations at Napa Rose that we had to give up!!

Believe me, I was not happy. They said it was a liability issue and refused to budge.

We just made reservations for 2 date nights during our upcoming 8 day DL trip. When I called she asked for their birthdates not their ages. Maybe a lot of people were having the same issue as the.PP...
