Pinocchio/Robin Hood Characters

We are planning a trip to Disney, and we really want to meet all the Robin Hood characters,such as,Robin,Little John,Prince John,Friar Tuck,and the Sheriff and I was just curious as to where you all have seen these characters, what would be our best stragety??And also the Pinocchio ones, Pinocchio himself,Gideon,Gepatto,and Jiminy. So if you could help out I would sure appreciate it. Thanks a bunch.

We saw pinnochio & geppeto in Epcot. I believe it was Italy. I took a great picture of my kids with them. It totally by chance that this happened. We were sitting have some frozen ice and out they walked. Ask Epcot information they might actually have times which they are around.

Here is where we saw some of these characters on our trip in Dec.

Pinocchio and Gepetto.. Three times in MK all in the same location right up from Casey's corner closer to the castle. Once in Epcot with numerous other characters all dressed for the holidays.

Gideon.. I saw him once right at the beginning of Main Street in MK. He was with Donald, Daisy, Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear.

Jiminy.. Didn't see him anywhere.

Robin and Friar Tuck.. I saw both together at Epcot with the same boatload of holiday dressed characters that came off a double decker bus.

Prince John.. I saw him near the entrance at Animal Kingdom

I didn't see the Sheriff or Little John.

We saw Jiminy at MK on Earth Day and at Epcot on the character bus.

We have seen Foulfellow and Gideon together at MK (after Cindy's show in front of the castle).

Just go to Guest Services when you arrive at a park and ask if a character will be out that day...we have actually changed our park plans to go to another park to see a character!

Wish we could catch up with Little John...no luck yet. And I've heard Maid Marion is "retired."

Edited to add, we saw Sheriff at MGM and at MNSSHP.

In May, we saw a ton of the Robin Hood characters in the Main Street area of MK. I think they were all there aside from Marian. When we were back in December, we only saw Robin Hood there. I have also seen Prince John in the AK. I've seen Pinocchio and Gepetto both at MK and Epcot. We've seen the fox-like character at both places as well (I'm not sure of his name).

Beginning of December we saw all of these characters in Epcot at World Showcase---we have been to Disneyland several times and never, ever saw any of the characters from "Robin Hood"--in Epcot we saw all except Little John!

We saw Pinochio and Geppeto right at the entrance to MGM. DS was 3 1/2, so that was 4 years ago. But we have the most amazing video and pictures of DS and Pinochio sitting cross legged together on the porch of the building. whatever DS did (cross his legs, cross his arms) pinochio copied. Very Cute!!

You won't have any trouble seeing most of these characters. We have been three times in the last year, and the robin hood and Pinnochio characters were always right around the flag pole at the beginning of Main Street when you walk in to MK. Although, I have never seen Jiminy anywhere in the world after LOTS of trips over the years.

I don't remember seeing any of those characters on our last trip. But last time we went we weren't looking for characters, but we'd take pictures with them if we spotted one.

Have any of you ever saw Little John,we really want to see him,I think we have given up on seeing Jiminy but would really like to see all the Robin Hood ones and Little John seems rare and the Sheriff,do you know if there are any numbers or any e-mail address that we could write to someone at Disney just putting in a request to see more of these characters. When we were there in October we saw, Robin Hood, King John and the Sherriff of Nottingham on Main Street on Saturday, early evening. We saw Gideon at the front of Main Street several mornings. We saw Jimminy Cricket at MGM Studios back near the hat late one afternoon. They were doing a multiple character meet and greet with Jimminy, Stitch, Chip and Dale. This was last October. I am sure we saw Pinnochio and Gepetto too, but since my kids have seen the two of them so many times at Disneyland we didn't pay much attention or try to get autographs!
