DAY EIGHT - DIXIE LANDINGS, MUST HAVE MORE FUN, TRIP HOME

Well, we're going home today. Bags are packed, room is checked, juice is drunk and the remote is struggled with. I can't believe he still wants to watch the Weather Channel.
"But honey, I'm just trying to find the news." - yeah right, that's why I keep seeing these maps of the USA every time my back is turned.
We now have the Express Check-out package hanging on our door knob in the morning. Gee, I remember on Saturday and Sunday when we saw those on OTHER peoples doors. Now we are the "other people". Did I mention how glad I was to have brought the extra, large suitcase? I packed the medium one inside it on the way down and now they are both full.
We are pushing our bags out the door and snapping pictures of the view when we run into our maid cleaning the next room. We chat briefly and she thanks us for the tips. I left envelopes on my pillow every morning marked "MouseKeeping" with little Mickey Mouse heads on them. She noticed that I was going through a lot of tissue so she left an extra box. It was much appreciated! This is just to show everyone how hard these people work and that your tips are VERY much appreciated.
We decide to use our flex feature for the breakfast buffet at Bonfamille's. I had wanted to eat there in the evening but now it will have to be next time.
It was a good choice (yes, the food reviews are next!). Now we had a few hours to kill before Moe was back with our car. Not enough for another run to the parks. We had "hit the wall" so to speak with fun and sickness. But we were determined to squeeze all the fun we could out of our remaining hours. This just meant one thing - over to Dixie Landings for more SQUISHY!
I was hacking, Brain was talking about his monorail and how to make it go faster (gee, I think Tim Allen took over his body) and I just wanted my squishy and a bench. I got both. I didn't want to leave although home sounded good too and my cat was missing me. Either that or he was peeing on my bathroom wall even now. I thought the plane ride is going to suck with this sinus thing. Poop. Well, we went to the DL gift shop and did some last minute shopping. Then it was a nice boat ride back to Port Orleans. We got to talk to some nice people in line, saw a snake and when 3 boats pulled in and they wouldn't load them, I started hacking, talking about how maybe I shouldn't have gotten that chimp from Africa and now I've got this monkey disease. Maybe enough people have heard of Ebola but it did get us on the boat and a wide berth besides.
Still some time, The Brain went to see a man about a Mouse and when he returned told me that there was an arcade. Arcade?! This was the first time I heard about an arcade at Port Orleans. Last time when I was at All Stars, a friend and I played this one game where you shoot at bad eggs practically every night. I went back there, looked around and guess what? They had the egg game! Well, we had 20 minutes before the car, so here we are, shooting eggs and squeezing every last drop of fun out of our trip. 2:00pm rolls around, we go out front and there is Moe. Well, it's back to the airport and the west coast. Goodbye Port Orleans, but just for a little while. I just the colds kind of flummoxed Brain's plan for World domination but Pinky was hard at work. Hmmm, Port Orleans or Wilderness Lodge next time? Maybe the Poly? I'd like to try California Grill and Artists Point. Hmmm, Pinky is driving away and already plotting to take over The World.
