We are leaving for LA this Friday, and might stop off in Hollywood to try Pink's Hotdogs. We heard about Pink's on the Travel Channel and the Food Network. Does anyone have any reviews? We've been wanting to try Pink's for some time now.

My husband LOVES hot dogs and really likes Pinks. I warn you though...there's always a line and it can be LONG.

No matter what time you go to Pink's, the line is at least an hour or two. If you are with a great group of people, you won't mind the wait ;)

The hot dogs are great though, so they are worth that one to two hour wait time. I had the Bacon Chili Cheese Dog and DH had the 3-Dog Night. They were awesome! :thumbsup2

Thank you for your responses. We ate at Pink's yesterday and the hot dogs are wonderful! I'm not a big hot dog fan, but they were quite tasty. We arrived around 11:30AM and waited for only 10 minutes. It was worth it. Pinks is our new stop on the way home from DLR.:thumbsup2

If you're a hot dog aficionado, then you can't go wrong with Pink's. Their chili dogs are unparalleled. I've only visited later in the night (10:00 or so), and I didn't have to wait at all. As you probably know, Pink's is equally famous for its celebrity sightings as they are for their hot dogs. Supposedly, it's where Bruce Willis proposed to Demi Moore. Perhaps he should have picked somewhere a bit more upscale, as we all know how that marriage ended! ;)

I too had been wanting to go to Pinks and saw it on the travel channel and a few other shows on Food Network...when we went down to Moreno Valley in March for the weekend, we took a day and went to hollywood and I wanted to try pinks...as previous posters said, it took us forever to get through that line...we got there about 7pm and we didnt leave until 10...by that time we were too pooped to go any farther so we headed back to moreno valley...the hot dogs are good, I got this one that was a hot polish dog with chili, mustard, and onions...but to be perfectly honest with you, I would not do it again unless there was maximum a few people in line...although it was good, it wasnt worth waiting in that long of a line...its one of those things where you say been there done that....:confused3

Is this anywhere near Hollywood Blvd? We are spending our first day in Hollywood (going to the Disney Soda Shoppe) and would love to eat here!

Pink's is on La Brea near Melrose Ave. -- a little over a mile south of Hollywood Blvd.

Is the chili there hot? I only like super hot chili(5 alarm) so I've been afraid to go there and have it bland.
