Alright, well I got inspire by the MOChI thread, and decided my own all about pinkberry! So anyone who has gone to pinkberry on there Vacay, post it here! What you got, if you liked it, etc. I love pinkberry. When I went I got the plain vanilla yogurt with pineapple on top. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. But the nice lady's there gave me a sample of the coffee, and green tea and I liked them all. My only thing was, what would you put on top of coffee? LOL.

i don't really like pinkberry :O tastes to much like yogurt to me lol. I tried the plain with strawberries and captain crunch lol.

We have a place closer to our house in costa mesa called cherry on top, which has multiple types of frozen yogurt (not just 3 flavors) and yummy yummy toppings.

I have not heard of this place, but I can't believe there are still frozen yogurt places out there! I have not seen ONE in Virginia, let me tell you. I worked in shop when I was in high school and I have fond memories!!!! There are some fabulous frozen yogurt flavors and toppings out there - in college our favorite was vanilla with peanut butter granola. If you ever get the chance to try Pumpkin (served around Halloween time of course) go for it - sooooo good!!:goodvibes

MMMMMM, Pumpkin! That sounds delicious! I love pumpkin pie so I would probably love pumpkin! I can't believe you have never heard of pinkberry! They have one at the LA Farmers Market, which we do on every trip, and I fell in love!

That Yogurt d'Italia on Harbor near Katella is supposed to be a Pinkberry style place with sweeter yogurt.
Personally, I love the tartness of the original flavor Pinkberry, and I don't think I'd like it sweeter. Strawberries are usually my favorite topping, but they might be going out of season now..

I agree, Thats the best part of pinkberry, is the tartness. I mean, you could buy any old frozen yogurt at a grocery store and put fruit on it, but it would just taste like icecream. Ick. Once I tried actually freezing yogurt, but it had an awkward texture.

I love Pinkberry. I really thought I would love the green tea flavor, but not so much, and I thought that was strange because I'm a green tea girl.. I haven't tried the coffee flavor yet though..

Yummm. I'm hungry now.

Yeah, me too, I thought I would like it, but there was just something I didn't like, so I just went with the plain lol. I didn't want to ruin my only pinkberry that I would get for a long time! LOL.

When I go to Pinkberry, my favorite has been plain w/strawberry. But I haven't tried too many combinations yet. ;)

However, my all time favorite frozen yogurt place is in The Big Chill on Olympic in West LA. :thumbsup2 (It's the sweet kind of frozen yogurt there.) I love their peanut butter, even though it's lowfat & not nonfat.

That's funny! I live near DL, and it seems like in the last year, new chains have been popping up all over the place - pinkberry, cherry on top, and a couple other new ones, too. We actually just commented the other night that it's like an 80's flashback!

A Pinkberry recently went in a few blocks from my work, but I haven't been there yet. I love mochi, though, so I think I might be persuaded to go try them out!

Pinkberry's mochi is good. They don't have it out on the toppings bar, but you can ask for it on your yogurt...

That's EXACTLY what I think about Pinkberry. I hate the sour/bitter taste of the frozen yogurt there. I'd much rather have Golden Spoon Frozen yogurt.

OHH, I know someone who makes fun of me for liking pinkberry, he says its no good, but then said "The golden spoon is good!" and when I asked what it was, he said it was frozen yogurt with toppings. I didn't understand what the difference was, but he must have liked that it didn't have the "Yogurty" taste.

HMMM, next trip I wanna go to as many of these places as I can lol. And since I live in WA, I probably could eat as much as I want since I get it once every three years! HAHA. lol.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Hahahaha, same thing. When I tried to put the little yogurt cups in the freezer and take them out later, they were just NOT what I expected. Needless to say, I didn't try freezing yogurt again.

Meanwhile, I hate yogurt as a general rule. However, I freeze the Go-gurt sticks for my DS and the strawberry ones are amazingly good when they are frozen! Costco has them on sample pretty frequently and they serve them in a half-frozen state (if you freeze them they take about 5 minutes to defrost slightly) and they are cool, creamy and delicious!

I used to do that! It was yummy! But since I have become vegetarian I can't anymore cause gogurt has gelatin. UGH. I can only eat certain types of yogurt. I looked on the pinkberry ingredients list, and they among the ingredients they list "nonfat yogurt". Since CA has a lot of vegetarians, I am assuming that there is no gelatine in their yogurt, but I dont know for sure! UGH!!!
