Has anyone bought pin lots from this site? If so, what are your opinions.

I wonder where they get there stock of pins from and whether or not they are bootlegged or scrappers.

OK...yes I have- on the recommendation from a fellow disser. The pins came and there were some flaws(but no worse than pins I have gotten off cast member laynards in the past), some were listed on the Pin Pics as poss frauds(but only 3 as I remember out of 50). Most were ok- BUT, they smelled horrible(like pertoleum), and I could not get rid of the smell, so I had to break them up-couldn't wear more than 4 at a time. I do not know the origin-and after I purchased them - I really began to think about it...some were older and looked totally legit, but lots were current pins from WDW or DL. I did my best to verify that they were origional(called the company), and only traded pins I woud be happy to get myself.

Well this one day, I am wearing 2 of the pins(they were the faries) and a CM who I was trading with asked if I would trade the faries pins for 2 pins each(she was collecting them personally, not on her laynard)...I said sure...I didn't like them personally. She was thrilled-I completed her set-I was thrilled to have 4 more pins to trade. She looked them over- and was very happy.

Now-sorry this is becoming a long story...I would never buy from them again, due to the smell, and the questionable origin of the pins. I have gotten lots of nice pins off ebay, and my boys always end up trading them for some kind of mini pin(we have the 07 set and the mini pirates) which are about the price of ebay pins. I have also gotten fantastic pins off DisneyShopping...that are legit, and many times in small LE counts. Kids seem to like these pins too.

So I would recommend Ebay(if you know what you are doing -pin wise) or Disney shopping (look for sales and free shipping). If you do want to take a chance-get a small lot, and send back right away for a refund.

Good Luck
