Does anyone know which rate is better? I booked an AP rate today and then got an email with a pin immediately after (go figure  ) and I'm debating if I should call back and use the pin code instead. The thing is, I was on the phone for an hour to get the AP rate, so I don't want to waste another hour and end up with the same rate. Any ideas?

I've called and received lots of different quotes today, and the % off has varied for the same dates among deluxe resorts (18%, 19%, 22% off, most with the PIN).

But, I did compare WL courtyard PIN vs. AP for the same dates. The PIN rate was 18% off ($220) and the AP rate was 25% off ($200). But that doesn't consider the difference in tickets or consider pkg vs. room-only issues. You have to buy a pkg with the PIN.

The pin can only be used with a package? I thought it said you could call for room only? Ugh. I don't want a package, just room only.

I'm sorry if I suggested that. None of the CMs that I spoke with offered room-only. In every case they asked for a package. But the postcard says room-only offers may be available. So it would be worth a try.

Late this afternoon I booked rooms at the Caribbean Beach for Nov 17-24 - they had no AP discounts left at the CB but would have been $124 for standard view - I had a PIN code that I was able to use at the CB for $129 a nite.
