Is pin trading common at Universal?

There are some TM's that might trade

You can trade at Universal but you won;t find as many CMs who can trade.
They dont have as many places that sell pins or as much variety in pins. It's more of an afterthought. Disney will issue pins for the 20th anniversary of a movie or the 15th anniversary of a ride or a hotel where Univ, will mostly stick to their main characters and attractions.

That's true......

My friends kids were lucky on their Christmas visit, they found quite a few that did trade.......but visit before they only found a couple who did.

What I thought was interesting was that I didn't see many Harry Potter themed pins at the shops in general, however, I haven't gone to every single one, but I did noticed that at the main Universal gift shop at the entrance they had a huge variety of HP pins, more than I ever thought they would have.

The is a cart in Hogsmeade, near the stage, that has almost exclusively pins DS got a chocolate frog one there 3 years ago & it still smells chocolatey!

There is not really pin trading. But they do have pins. I love the Harry Potter ones. They usually have something new whenever I go. My favs are a ticket to the Yule ball and a Gringotts key. Suess also has some great ones including ones that look like a book with quotes inside.
