Pin Trading?

My wife and I are heading to Southern Cal for a week and might spend a day at DisneyLand.

We are major Pin Traders with CM's when we go to DisneyWorld. Do DisneyLand CM's also trade?

Any info would be appreciated!

Not speaking from personal experience, because we haven't gone yet, but this question was posted on the boards before and I know the answer was that pin trading was at DL as well. I hope so because we have our lanyards & pins out & ready for our trip next month!

Yes, there is pin trading at both parks and many CM's have lanyards. There is also a pin trading area in Tomorrowland where the "serious" traders meet.

Castmembers have two types of lanyards at DL. They have the black lanyards from which anyone can trade and they have teal colored lanyards that are reserved for younger guests only.
When we were there this past November, they didn't have the special CM lanyard series pins (I read on a web site that they were going to start having them in Oct)... A CM told me to keep checking back.... (of course I live in VA--so, it is kind of hard to "keep checking back" ) but, I would expect by now, they would have them for sure.
On the day we were there, they had a special scanvenger hunt where they distributed cards and you went to various stations to find the answers. There were several limited edition pins (there were pictures of the pins on the cards) available for sale and after you solved the puzzle and went to the surprise location, you earned a pin. That was a lot of fun--and didn't take too long to participate in. (We participated in a similar thing at WDW--only that one took a lot longer because you had to go to all the parks, the Sports center and pin central. )
