Hello
I have seen a lot of people ask about Pin trading with little kids and i wanted to share my experience and how great it was.
My DD, Sophie, is 3 and we decided we would try it out and see how it went. We decided to let her decided what pins she wanted and which ones to trade. We did have to help her a bit with picking duplicates and suggust other pins and this worked but here are some of the experiences we had.
Our first day, in hte rains of Tropical Storm Fay, we decided to go into Mexico and ride the ride. There was actually a decent line due to the rains. I stopped a cast memeber, Ale was her name, and asked if she would trade pins with my daughter. She agreed and started talking with her. She pulled my family out of line and traded the pin and made my DD her VIP guest. She brought us to the front and gave us a Private Boat and a certificate to Sophie saying VIP guest.
The next day while waiting to have pictures with Mike and Sully we traded again with a cast member and when she went to walk away Sophie said "Mommy I made a new friend' When the cast member heard this she turned around came back and gave Sophie a bunch of Temporary Tattoo's.
Things like this happened about 50% of the time, She got Stickers, Tattoo's, Lollipops, etc.
We also have great Photopass pictures of her trying to trade Pins with Mike and Sully also. We might not have won a night in the Castle or anything like that but these little things the cast members did made my DD feel so special and she loved it.
