Pin trading & lanyard?

I bought some pins on Ebay for trading when we go - where is the best place to get a lanyard? Wait until we get there or get one on Ebay....

If anyone is interested I found an Ebay seller who sold per pin in whatever size lot you want, I wanted 6 for each child - it was like a grab bag, you get what you get. PM me for seller id.

Lanyards are available almost everyone in DLR and DCA. World of Disney, the Emporium, PT Flea, Greetings, to name a few. There's some nice ones with medals, and stuff and you might want to get a starter set while you're there also. Have fun trading!

They range from about $20-$50 depending on what kind of pins it comes with. The basic starters are pretty cheap. If you booked a dream vacation it comes with a pin and lanyard you can pick it up at WOD with your voucher.

I can't check my receipt right now, but if memory serves, a simple lanyard is oly 5 or 6 dollars at any of the stores. I took one evening while DH and DS napped at the hotel to scour the park for a lanyard I wanted. It was a wider one with cool designs, and I think it was 6 bucks. It ended up being too wide, it just looked odd on me (though I saw much younger and smaller people than me wearing them, and they looked terrific ), and I got a simple pink one with Disneyland on it, and I'm 99% sure it was only 5 bucks.

Of course then I went and got one of the horizontally-oriented, "ziplock" style shutting, ticket/fastpass/credit card holders that clips to the bottom of it, which brought my cost up.

Do you have a Disney Character Warehouse near you (I thought I read that there is one right now *somewhere* in AZ)? Maybe they would be good to check out for lanyards and even pins?

Just be sure you read through the trading info, to make sure that the grab bag pins you got are official and true pins, b/c otherwise no one will trade with you. http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pintrading/index
