Pin Trading Help Needed

Hello,

We just returned from a week at Disney and my 3 1/2 year old Daughter fell in love with pin trading. Every cast member she saw with a lanyard, she needed to trade with.

The problem is she only has a few pins and keeps trading the pins she really likes for other pins she really likes.

Does anyone know where I can get a bunch of various pins, like 15 or 20, for cheap. I just want her to have some pins she really won't mind giving away so she can collect pins that she really like such as princesses or dumbo and stitch. We are going back in March and I really want her to have fun pin trading

I looked on E-bay but pins in bulk qtys can go for a lot of money.

seems to be the only way in the moment to get pins for around 3-4 USD. There were retailers selling lots, too but this stopped a couple of month ago...

One great and inexpensive way to get pins to trade is at the Character Corner, a Disney outlet, which is located at the Prime Out. I am not sure of the address but I am sure anyone at the hotels can tell you how to get there. When visited last May the store had 4 different styles for $2.99 each. We bought several of each style for her to trade. Most of the pins at the parks go for $6.50 and up. We would place one of each on her lanyard and when she saw a CM with a lanyard she would go up and ask to trade. We told her which ones she could trade and which ones see could not and in every case the CM would trade with her. In one case the CM was hesitant because she said our DD's pin was retired and worth some money, but was still willing to trade if it was alright with the parents. This last week my sister in law was down there and bought us two each of seven different styles, one to keep and one to trade. Hope this helps.
