Pin trading guide

I apologize if I am asking an old question. I am new to the board and the wealth of information is overwhelming.

I recently bid on a Tomart's Guide to Disney Pins on eBay. Got snipped, so I didn't get the book. Can anyone recommend the best book on Disney pins and the best place to find it?

My kids are just getting into this and I just don't want to trade off a valuable pin because we don't know any better. I know they'll get a kick out of looking up all their new acquisitions.

Also, any sources for inexpensive pins to trade would also be appreciated. A thread on the other board recommended eBay and Cheapins, both of which I've used. I also scout the Disney Outlet Store about an hour from my house whenever I'm in the area.

The most current resource is actually free and that is
Pinpics.com
It has a search feature that lets you look up pins, has most of the pins available and tells you how many people want the pin to give you an idea of how popular it could be.


I like my Tomarts to see all the pins that have been made but it is not the most current as so many pins come out each month.


As to finding pins, sometimes you can find good deals on Dizpins.com on the sale board.
