Pin trading for a 5 year old boy

We are going to wdw next year and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a handfull of pins for my DS5 to trade with. This will be his first trip and I just want to have some to get him starte. I don't care which ones they are, I just don't want to spend a fortune!! Also, anyone know where I can get a child sized lanyard fairly cheap to take with us. (I would rather buy one at home than at the park)

Just bought a great laynard and pins from ebay. My son will be 4&1/2 when we leave in a couple of weeks and I decide pin trading was the way to go so he wouldnt ask for everything. But i was very happy with ebay. Just check the feed back. I can Pm you the buyer if you want.

Yeah Ebay is good i have bought from there before and if you have a disney store around where you live i bet you can find a lanyard there and a few pins just for a start but im not for sure how much they really are! So yea gl with your findings and have fun with your next trip!

Pin trading is fun for kids just as it is for adults. They first time I went there to pin trade I had a lanyard on and I had just came out of a store when a little boy about 5 or six said, "look mom, she has pins". I asked him if he wanted to trade. He has a starter set, you can buy those in the parks for about 20-25$ with like 4-5 pins on it. He had the pins that came with it and a few others. He was sooooo excited cause it would be his first trade ever cause he was too afraid to go up to a cast member.
I let him pick one off my lanyard and he gave me one in return. That was the best experience of my day that day was making the kid happy. I saw him later on that day trading with a cast member.
I guess I broke his shyness.
