Trying to decide if I should lug a pin bag to DL. Can anyone tell me how active trading is at DL? I will not be there for a "pin trading night", I'll be there later this week into next week. I'll bring plenty of lanyard traders, but just unsure if I should bring one or more trading bags. I will post on the collecting board too, but thought someone here may know.
Thanks

I've seen guests at the parks who have a pin trading bag (shaped like a messenger bag). When I pin trade at the parks, I wear one lanyard of pins (ones I am not trading and have the pin locks on the back) and I carry one lanyard in my bag of the pins I want to trade.

I also bought a small storage case (meant for nuts, bolts, screws, etc.) that is small and has plastic inserts that separate each space. I'm not sure what this is called, but it keeps things organized. I put my pins in there and along with the pin backs. It fits perfectly in my backpack or messenger bag and is not a burden to carry. They sell these at Home Depot and Walmart for $5 or less.

If you go to DTD, across from the lego store is a pin trading store and they have small tables out front for guests to trade. Sometimes they have CM's with a large pin bag or pin vest spread out on a table for guests to trade with them.

The most active area I've seen for pin trading is at the end of Main Street (next to Coke Corner). Most guests hang out at the tables and have all their pins spread out for people to trade with them. There are also CM's who work at the pin carts who have pins to trade.

I bought the Pirates pin bag, just because I have too many lanyards to wear... I have to admit though I collect more than trade and probably will just recyle my lanyards over future trips and add them to the book as they fillup again.

However, I have traded on occasion. The place I always see that is busiest is at the kiosk near the monorail stop in DTD. I think that's a good place anyway because it means I can grab my bag from the hotel, go down for a little bit and then bring it back upstairs and not to the parks.
