Pin trading at Disneyland??

hi, i am wondering if there is pin trading at disneyland....i know its huge at DWorld, but i have never seen any posts about it here....

was thinking of getting a bunch for my dd off ebay to add to her collection, but i guess i should first make sure you guys do it too.

yes pin trading is big at DLR. i do not know about doing off EBAY. I am only responding to this cause i am a pin nerd also! LOL i don't trade, but i collect-but i buy pins to wear and i buy pins to frame. now i heard that anyboyd buying pins off ebay should be carefull--as you don't know if they are real or not.. that may not be true-but i was told that

We just got back, and I bought 100 pins to trade with and we almost traded all of them. I use mousepinsonline dot com Mostly my kids trade, and it's neat to see what they come back with.

I've used him quite a few times, and he's very reasonable and reliable. Once I forgot to order before our trip to WDW, and he shipped them right to the resort for me.

There's a place in Frontierland next to the pin shop that at certain points in the day they bring out three barrels to trade on. There are "master pin traders" and others that are looking for certain items. You can also trade with any CM just like at WDW. The Master pin traders are a hoot to watch.

We met up with someone from Chicago at a showing of Fantasmic! one time and he just came from overseas and my kids saw his pin and he obliged and traded with them. Good times.

Yep, we have always ordered pins from ebay as well specifically for trading,although this last bunch of 50 resulted in only 20 to trade with b/c we decided to keep some really unique ones. All were official Disney pins too..It is a huge part of our trip and lots of fun for the little ones. The buyer I use on ebay is :Chasing a Dream..they are located in Las Vegas and give the option to deliver to your resort in DLR if preferred..I have always been very happy with the variety and quality! Have fun!

I also saw some major traders hanging out by some tables up/across from the Star Wars ride. They had their books out and looked like it was serious business for them. We ordered some off ebay for my girls but it turned out they were too young to really get into it. I might try again this year since my oldest will be 6. I mainly want them to trade with CMs and not really strangers so I will have to keep an eye on it. I know there is a rule about certain color lanyards signalling who that CM will trade with. A certain color lanyard means that CM only trades with kids a certain age or younger.

My kids 8 and 6 are so into pin trading at DL. They love it more than getting autographs!

It is the blue lanyards or trading aprons. They are serious about only trading with kids too. I watched my friend get scolded because she was trying to guide her son I always order traders for my kids, and they have a great time. My youngest always trades for me for tinkerbell or other pins he thinks I will like.
