OK, here's the deal. I got a pin code for free dining & was able to use it. My sis & I booked 3 rooms for our families 11/29-12/6 at ASMu. We're very excited. But I didn't know we were limited to 3 rooms with one code. So I called my friend who loves WDW and offered to add her to my code & Grand Gathering. When I called, of course, they informed me that I couldn't book a fourth room. I made the 4th ressie anyway as the guy convinced me it's better to have a room & hope for it to go public.

I then said, "What are the chances it will go public?" He laughed and said, "I can't tell you that. But I think you should book the room. I'm just saying."

OK, so I had to call my friend & tell her the scoop. And for now we're on hold.

Here is my question. Lately I've been getting ALL the codes that come out. I have a Disney Visa I use constantly, I'm on the website a lot, and I've been to Disney once a year for the last three years. If I get another code before 10/14/09 (when they have to cancel if I don't get another code) can I apply it to them and not me? The guy on the ressie desk said yes since it was all booked under me going on my Visa card but it made me nervous to promise her that on the phone tonight.

Any help you can give me would be great. I feel like a real idiot offering someone something that I can't provide so I'd love for it to work out for them.

I would have to agree with the CM who said that you could add it later since it's in your name. This has always been the case in the past that you could make a rack-rate ressie and then apply a code later. You could also keep your fingers crossed for a public code that you or your friend could use to book her room. It may not be for free dining, but it could be for a room-only discount. Check www.mousesavers.com periodically and good luck!

Check out the Free Dining PIN FAQ located in my Sig below. It will tell you about the chances of the code going public.

Also, if the room is in your name, then you can add the PIN.

If the Free dining PIN goes public then it wont matter cause everyone can use it at that time.
