PIN question

I received PIN offers fairly regularly (twice a year?) and had a few questions, as we're planning an upcoming trip....

1) If I book a trip for fall 2013, will I be taken off the potential PIN list?

2) If I book a trip for fall 2013, and some public offer is advertised (free dining?) can I call back and they'll apply the public offer? For example if I book a trip with lodging & tickets, they'll just add the dining?

3) How far out are PINs sent? For example I have 2 active ones (35% off lodging OR free dining) right now for now through the spring, but we'd rather go in the fall. Put a different way - how long should I wait for a potential pin to book the fall trip?

I'm sure there are other questions, but these are a start.

No one knows how or why they send pins. People have gotten them with trips booked, with trips saved on the website, and with no trips planned at all.

If you book and a discount comes out you are able to switch it over - you can not stack the discounts, however. It's one or the other, and each discount has different amounts of rooms/types at each resort it will allow. You may have to switch around a little bit when switching discounts.

People have gotten pins so far this year for room discounts through September 2013. The pins can be different, but there are fall pins going out.

I would personally book what you want now if you plan on going with or without a pin to ensure you get what you want.

Thanks. Yeah, I have one current one that runs through September 28th. We were hoping for early november or the week between thanksgiving and pop warner, though.

Another question - if we have multiple parties (2 families) with a possible overlap, can I use the same pin for both bookings. There seems to be some that say that it is possible, if there is overlap & at the same resort, and then I saw one or two others that said they were able to book different resorts with overlap using the same PIN.

You can use your pin to book up to 3 rooms, at the same travel time, at the same resort, and they will connect the reservations to show you are all one party.

People have had success with different resorts, and even varying dates, but I wouldn't count on being able to use it if you don't meet the actual requirements.
