Pin Question?

I bought all 5 of us some pins to trade this year during our trip. DH says he wouldn't mind trading but he is not wearing a lanyard.

How does everyone here take their pins to the world. We don't have lanyards yet, but I planned to buy some. I was just wondering what other people did.

My DH refuses to wear a lanyard so he just keeps them in his pant's pocket. However, I have a small bag that I carry with a wide shoulder strap on it. I put my pins on the strap and off I go.

I'm just going to put our traders in my fanny pack. We normally just trade with CMs, so I'll let the kids look at their lanyard and get one of our's out if they see something they want to trade for.

Also, the water bottle straps they sell @ WDW work great for pins as well.

my seven year old used a fanny pack. I used a lanyard, but carried it in my bagallini, which is usually where the four year old's pins were too.

Thanks for the replies! You're making me feel much better. I think we'll hold off on the lanyards and just try the hats and backpacks first.

I have mine on a lanyard right now but I think I may do some of both. We are going to WDW for 2 nights and do the Haloween Party and the waterpark before we go on the Dsiney Magic. But I think we may use the shoulder pack. I ordfered some pins on Ebay to trade when we go as most of my pins I do not want to trade. I got a cool one last year from A CM with a disney plane.

I carry mine in my pocket in a small zip-lok bag. Lanyards are nice to display your pins, but can get in the way while you are touring the parks, not to mention the tendency to fall off and get lost.

We usually wear ours on a lanyard, but I have seen them on hats, bags, vests. My son got tired of wearing the lanyard so put his on a piece of cardboard and carried it around in his bag. A piece of felt would probably work too then you could roll it up, maybe put it in a baggie in your bag or fanny pack.
We will be down on Saturday and we have our bag of pins ready to go, we have lots of old traders, looking forward getting some new ones for our books.
