PIN + Platinum (or Premium)

I just wanted to check because there seems to be disagreements - can I use a PIN to book a deluxe room and then add either the Premium or Platinum package? If not, I'll book a MYW with some version of dining and pay for things out of pocket (likely cheaper, even) but I preferred the simplicity for this trip...

You cannot get the premium or platinum plan with a discount. It's not available with any discount.

The only extra discount (other than pins and public codes) you can get on packages (including plat and prem) is with AAA and even then the discount is so small it's not worth it to work with some of their restrictive policies about cancellation and changes in my experience.

So are you saying that the 40% room discount I was offered will not be applied if I make it into a package? The brochure with the PIN they sent seemed like it would still be applied, but maybe that's a hook.

The Pin will still be applied as long as you choose a different package. You can add on deluxe dining.. but, you can't add on premium/platinum..

Just another confirmation that the highest package you can book with a pin is the Deluxe Dining.

I ran into this same issue this morning with my October trip, and the CM very expertly explained it to me.

You can, however, add some part of the Premium Plan on to a Deluxe Dining plan: for instance, you can add your La Nouba tickets to the plan, so that they are included in package pricing and cancellation.
