Pin Event LE Pins and Lanyards

I am with you Karen....very depressed cause I can't be there either


I will be there in October and can't afford another trip. Sure wish I had known about the Pin Event and Meet before I planned my vacation. The pin and accompanying lanyard and card would be so nice to have. Plus I would love to meet everyone.

I have had several questions come up with regards to the Pin/Lanyard/Lanyard Card. Let me see if I can provide a little more information.

1. Do I send the pin if I want one of these meet packages? (No, bring the pin to the meet. I will have the pin/lanyard/card packages there with your name on them that you can pick up.)
2. Can I pick up the pin/lanyard/card early to wear during the Epcot Pin Event? (Sure, I will be down there beginning August 7th and would be happy to make arrangements with you to meet somewhere.)
3. Is the pin/lanyard/card available only to those who will be at the meet? (Right now I am trying to determine how many to have made. If you want one but cannot attend the meet, send me a note and I will try to accomodate everyone [not promising anything].)
4. How does Trina ever stay married to you? (Gee, I am not sure but if you want, you can ask her in August.)
5. Is it true that wax lips melt in Arizona during the summer? (Why yes it is. Important safety tip, don't put wax lips on and go outside when it is 114 degrees. They will melt in your mouth and in your hand.)
6. Is there anything being given away at the "Post Meet" party? (Well, there just may be a little something for people. You just never know how an Arizona Jeff Adventure will turn out.)
7. Got anything else planned for that week? (Hmmm, I just might have. I got a couple of story ideas that could turn into adventures. Better stay tuned.)
8. Is any pin acceptable as trade? (I am working this like Cast Member trading, if a pin is eligible to be traded in the parks, I will accept it. I will leave it entirely up to you to determine what you want to trade.)
9. Can I get more than one pin/lanyard/card for others in my party who are attending? (Sure, everyone who is going to the meet can get a Pin Meet Pin/Lanyard/Card set. Just send me a list of the people coming and I will make sure they get one.)
10. What information is going to be on the lanyard cards? (The current design has DIS Screen Name, Real First Name. I may also add where you are from but I am not sure about that yet.)
11. How are you getting this information? (As people sign up through either the Magic Meetings web page or sending an e-mail to Arizona Jeff .)
12. How do I know if my information is correct? (You can check the list I am working from by visiting the Pin Meet web page. Any changes can be sent to Arizona Jeff . )
13. Is there a deadline for telling you whether I want a pin/lanyard/card? (We need to order the pins this week if we want them to be done by the Pin Meet. The sooner you can let us know, the better the chance you will have of receiving your pin at the meet. We hope to order the pins on Friday June 15.)
