Pin Event In September?

Hi all,

Just had a quick question. I am going to Disney in September and see they have a 3 day pin event going on in EPCOT while I am there. Can anyone tell me what really happens at these things. I see the costs to attend is $90 but what do you really get for $90? The way I understand it is that for $90 you just get the chance to "buy" more pins. I love my pins and have over 300 now so its not like I don't like pins I just wanted to see what really goes on at these events.

Check Dizpins, there was an update posted yesterday.
If you register before June 9, you get an early registration pin.
Otherwise you get a welcome pin (normally), 2 food vouchers for $15 each I think, normally one or two thank you parting pins, a pin if you get your Disney Partners Passport completely stamped, they ususally have some snack food, (one year it was cake, another year it was popcorn and soda). Recent years they have cut back on what you received and every year they raise the price.

Other than that, you get to meet fellow addicts, trade pins on trading boards, trade with your fellow addicts, admire hundreds of thousands of pins, attend an auction that has to be seen to be believed, and you may get lucky to play some game and win an exotic pin.

What do you get for $90? Good Question lets break it down..

Well first off you will receive 2 $15 gift cards to use for meals, you can also use it for anything else on property so really it is a $30 rebate.

What do you get for $60? Good Question lets break it down.

Well if you register early you get an early registration pin..lets call that $8

What do you get for $52? Good Question lets break it down.

Well last year I remember receiving a Jumbo pin and I am sure there was a box set…so all total you will get at least 4-5 free pins at say $6 each that is $30

What do you get for $22? Good Question lets break it down.

You get the chance to buy limited edition pins, pin trade, meet new friends, be in a raffle for more free pins…so all in all not a bad deal.
