PIN email...kind of disappointing :(

I am not complaining, because I love any savings, but I got a pin code and it was for 10% off a room only for travel during weekdays in May. This concerns me because, we love getting deep discounts at Disney (free dining, 35% off deluxe room). Ten percent is such a small savings, I am concerned that Disney is about to start scaling back their promotions. What has everyone else been getting??

I haven't received a pin in a long time...

But you're right, discounts are being scaled down. No need for them when they are filling the resorts and parks without them. And with the new Fantasyland opening, you're probably not going to be seeing deep discounts in the future.

That was the same pin we received about 2 months ago. We booked our vacation, but are really hoping something a little better comes along before we go in August. I mean any savings is nice, but for a family of 6 ...all of whom are considered adults...its expensive!

I got an email code (not a pin, but a 3 letter code) for September that actually priced the 6 day package out $52 MORE than what is available to the general public on their website. On another post- some are speculating that it may indicate an upcoming price increase.

Seems to me like the prices have already gone up quite a bit since my last trip in September 2010. I've seen some buzz on here that food prices have gone up too.

We also received a pincode for FQSD, and that is what we will probably use (unless a public offer for free regular dining comes out).

I called to see if I had any pins to my name and it was 10% percent. UGH! I'm dying for free dining. I even called again today to see if there was anything that I forgot to ask about. I don't know how people are so lucky to have free QSDP! I'd take that and just upgrade it. Still saving money. *sigh*

Yep I got this one too, both in email and snail mail. I mean any discount is good, but this wasn't nearly enough to get us to book.

I haven't gotten a PIN at all in the last couple of years. 10% is not a great discount, but it's better than nothing, which is what a lot of us have. I'm sure we would all love free dining!

I have never gotten a PIN. And...I just called to see if any discounts were available for a certain resort and the CM told me a price $20 per night higher than what I was seeing online. I kept saying 'it says it's cheaper online and I'm looking right at it'. She kept saying, I don't show any availability at that price :headache:

About a month ago, I was on line pricing different resorts/dates. When I called to make reservations over the phone, I asked if there were any discounts or a pin...and to my surprise I received a pin a couple days later via email stating "We're excited your thinking about another stay...use this pin code." It was for 30% off any room only rate for stays between now and December 20. That was the deciding factor since we have annual passes that expire June 18 -- we are going to Disney in May! A surprise for my 19 year old daughter! I can't wait to see the look on her face!:woohoo:

Just got the same 30% off PIN a few days ago in my email. Received the same one last year as well.
