We have been to Disney and on a cruise many times over the last 5 years. How does everyone get pin codes? I have never gotten one. I might get a flier in the mail, but I do not think that is a pin code. Just wondering.

Pin codes are random. Theories include that they are triggered by looking up and saving trip dates on the WDW site, geographic locations, and ordering the trip planning DVD.

My mother has gotten at least 3 of them since our last trip. Both trips were paid for and booked under my name. I have also heard on the board that people who include grandparents and extended family on their trips hear from them that they get pin codes.

The even stranger thing is when I booked it I was told as I am in my mother's "household" I could have booked the trip this fall under my name.....but the household is her address not mine. I order a trip DVD every year, have priced out several trips since our last trip, and never get pin codes.

Its "random" but meaning based on a marketing strategy that no one knows.:confused3

PIN codes can come in the mail, so check for a 15-digit PIN the next time you get something.

I have gotten several codes over the years . My last one came via an email. So make sure you are checking your mail and email . No one knows how you get them. I book a trip every year and I am always on the disneyworld site pricing vacations , so I don't know if this helps it not????

I took the advice of several people on theis board and looked at and saved several possible offers. I did end up getting a pin for dates we could not use. DD did the same thing a month or so ago and so far nothing.

DH has a Chase Disney debit card and has gotten PINs. I hope they will send one when we actually can go!!! I have gotten a couple over the past few years also. I've requested a planning DVD a couple of time, and our last trip was booked in my name but it was quite a few years ago.

I frequently price Disney trips and rarely get pin codes. Seven years ago I took my children and my future son-in-law on a Disney trip. SIL now gets a few pin codes each year. He currently has two. I know because they come to my email since I paid for his trip.

The last pin code I received in my last name was almost four years ago. When I called to use it I was informed it was in my ex-husbands first name instead of mine. We have been divoriced for almost twenty years. Not sure how Disney pin codes work. Obviously they do not send any to people that visit fairly often :confused3
