Hey everyone I am wondering if many people are still receiving PIN codes after the hacking of the Disney Destinations list?

Was thinking maybe they scaled back a bit until some time passes or whatever they need to do to not let this happen again.

So are people still receiving PIN codes or has it dropped off for a bit right now?

Not here either. I got the FD that expires Apr 30 (for dates to 8/13) twice before the hacking (once in early March, again in late March). Since the hacking I have gotten a "we saw you were looking at Pop Century" mail with zero discounts :( They sent it to me on 2 consecutive days, just to rub it in....

Yes, two of them actually! :confused3 I actually got one the very next day after the "incident" and was 100% skeptical. It clearly looked like PIN emails I had received in the past, although it's been almost 2 years since my last one. I called the number provided (which is the same that's been verified here previously) and it indeed was valid. It was 30% off my dates that I had saved in my itineraries MONTHS ago. I actually put a trip on hold for that time frame with the PIN and then earlier this week I got the same exact email - very strange.

Can you tell us what dates the code was valid?

This happened to me also! Except when I called to see what my discount was I was told 10 %. Maybe I should call back. For 30% off I would book it!
The dates on my email were for sept. But when I called he said the 10% was good thru some dates in Dec. :confused3

Sure - For stays most Sunday–Thursday nights 11/1/11-11/18/11 and 11/26/11-11/30/11. :thumbsup2

Hmm...my PIN email told me it was 30% off. Do you remember yours saying 30% or 10%? I just read another thread that someone else got a 10% PIN. I guess any savings is better than nothing! ;)

Good luck!

Hi! How did you save the dates in your itineraries? Where are the itineraries? And how did you put a trip on hold and where? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
Thank you in advance for your reply!

In the Disney main website (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/) price a vacation and then "save it"-this will be on the left bottom side of the page and it says "save for later". I believe you can save up to 5 different trips or itineraries and it will be under your "My Disney Vacation" and "Saved Vacation Offers". Like many others suggest, try to save as many as you can and check it often. I've noticed that they've started disappearing after awhile but I know I had saved this particular time frame at least 2-3 months ago so sometimes it takes patience. :thumbsup2

Sometimes it's definitely worth the effort! :) Good luck! :wizard:

Thank you Heather! I don't know why I've never noticed that save for later button before. I saved one, and I am really hoping for a good pin code. I'm crossing fingers :) Thank you very much!!
