PIN code trip is more than standard booking?

Hi Guys -

I have my first PIN to use and am getting ready to book. Some unexpected home repairs came up and so we have to change a few of our WDW vacation plans, and for giggles I priced out the new options on the standard booking form. I was pleased with the bottom line and thought - well it can only get better since I can save 25% on the room price with my PIN.

So I logged in, pulled the PIN, created the SAME EXACT TRIP (the flights were different, but I chose "included" airfare on the pinned offer)... and the PIN offer came out almost $500 more than the standard offer.

What gives???

Id verify everything is the same. Pins can change the booking category available and tickets go on with different options all the time.

When are you going? I just helped a friend with a trip. She had a pin code and we checked into the pin discount vs. the general spring discount. She saved substantially more by just doing the general spring discount.

You might want to call Disney and price this out. If you get a good CM on the line, they will be able to talk this through with you. Just be prepared to ask them to price out any other discounts that may also apply to your trip to make sure you get the best price.

Do it WITHOUT the airfare included. Airfare can be very unpredictable, and has changed quite a bit lately.
