PIN Code! They won't let me use!

So I was just checking my inbox and low and behold I found a pin code! When I called Disney they said they don't have any rooms left? Has this happened to anyone before?

I'm going to paste some of it here...let me know if this is normal please. We would be checking in on the 23rd but even if we could only get the rate for one night it still helps.

I've had availability problems with PIN at WDW, but usually there's something available at some resort. If this came in just minutes ago maybe they need to goose the reservation system. (It's a technical term. )

Yep, that is correct. They block off so many rooms at the 3 DLR hotels for the promos, and unfortnately it bites cause many of us may not get the promo offer before others do, so by the time we get it it's sold out. I got a huge postcard one for this past summer. I called, and was told the same thing, but mine did NOT say subject to availibility. I told them mine did not say that, and after a while they honored it, but I had to bring it with me for proof. It did not matter in the end as they started offering a upgraded view room for the same price as the promo with the annual pass I ended up using my AP for the upgraded room at the pin code price since it was the same. The rates you just mentioned are actually the ap rates going at this time, so if you have an AP you might want to take advantage of those rates, and still please remember even though you may have an AP, or may not have one yet they are also only so many rooms before you have to pay rack.
