Received a pin code in the mail which offers up to 35% off room. The last date listed is Sept 28. My question is: if we arrived on Sept 28, would we receive the discount for the entire length of our stay, or for just that first night?

No, you have to be within the window of dates for the room discounts.

That only works for free dining; if the promotion ends your first night, you do get it the length of your stay.
