Pin code email

I received a pin# in my email this morning for DisneyLAND! It says CALIFORNIA residents only...I live in PENNSYLVANIA!!! Has this ever happened to anyone?? Does this mean I won't receive a pin for DisneyWorld?? We have a trip planned for 11/14-11/21 and hoping for a pin or free dining to be extended!!! UGH!!!

I'm sorry!! That's just wrong on so many levels. I have never received a pin but the people that get them seem to get more than one. So, hopefully you'll get another. Or better yet I hope they offer something to the public so I can take advantage too.

Call them and ask about it. Maybe they will issue you one you can use.

Yes, I have received that exact same over-sized postcard and I live in Texas!

Yes! I got one today at my email address for my mother-in-law, who lives in Northern California and is totally not eligible.

My MIL is the only one in our family who ever gets WDW pin codes (always at my email address), but they totally screwed up this time. However, when I called about the offer and explained the situation with the email address, the CM changed the name associated with the email address to mine. We'll see if that sticks...

I also just received an email that was for Disneyland but it was one for annual passholders only. It said 'Hello Monique' and went on to give the details. My name isn't Monique, I am not an annual passholder and I have never expressed interest in Disneyland while on their website. My son actually got the exact same email that I received too. I was so excited when I saw Disney Destinations had sent me something. I thought it was finally my turn to receive one of the coveted pin codes. This selective code situation doesn't really go with the "Magical" feeling you like to get when you are planning your Disney trip.
