PIN code discounts? Other discounts?

I've received them in the past. It's been a very long time since one has come through the mail or even in an email.

I've read several threads with tips on how to get a PIN code.
Any NEW secrets I've missed?

Are they just a thing of the past, like the senior discount?
With Disney now it doesn't pay to get older.
And I was looking forward to turning 60.

There are fewer and fewer discounts these days.

When was the last time one came your way? And how much was the discount?

The discounts I know of are:
1. 10% AAA
2. 10% Annual Pass Holders

I also read on another DIS thread that in addition to the no senior discount for 2013, there will be no military discount either. Bah humbug!!

See above post - looks like military discount may be going away as well.

I used the 10% AAA discount today so it is still there. The CM I talked with made it sound like there could be better discounts sent via e mail between now and our late January trip. Not holding my breath on that though.

I posted on the senior discount thread that the CM I spoke to said they did away with the military discount as well as the senior discount.

I do see that Disney does have Military rates available through 9/13. There are a few black out dates like Easter, Valentines, etc.

You can always try for the Military rate and worse they can say is no -- but it is showing you can still book this. The best part is if indeed the information I have is correct ( and I do think it is) then naybe be a future for the senior rate. Senior rate is only way I can make my solo trip. We shall see .

I do apperciate the fact that it appears Disney has kept the Military rate until atleast 9/13. They deserve a discount . I am not military so the discount does not affect me. I just feel it is a much deserved perk.

I just wanted to chime in about the military rate. I do not know if there is a normal military discount (like the AAA discount that is always in place), but today I called about the Military Salute rate that has been advertised. They do not have the rate information for 2013 as of today. The cast member I spoke with told me that she did not know when the rates would be available. I was hoping to book for May, but sadly, will have to wait. I hope that they aren't pulling the military salute discount, after having advertised it on the Disneyland web site! I know it has been 40% in the past, but the cast member I spoke with three weeks ago when I first called, said that they hadn't loaded the rates for next year yet, and that she had no idea if it would be 40% again.

If anyone hears anything, I would love to know. I hope everyone has a great day!
