PIN code confusion

I have been calling for the past week, trying to get a PIN code for our (already booked) June trip, but no luck at all. Then I called tonight and talked to a very friendly CM. I asked "if free dining was available for my dates" and after putting me on hold she said YES and explained I could also upgrade to dining plus, etc.

Here is how I was feeling --> :banana: :worship: :banana:

She was pricing out the trip and dining options and then at 20 minutes to 10pm EST the entire reservation system went down and after waiting a bit she said it wouldn't be back up for the evening.

Here is how I was feeling then --> :guilty::sad2::guilty:

She was very apologetic, gave me a 3-letter code for 'free dining' and a different 3-letter code for the 'plus upgrade' and told me to call back in the morning.

So, does this mean I have a PIN code on my account and will the CM tomorrow give me the same offer, seeing as how the first CM gave me these 2 codes? I am so nervous that I will call back tomorrow and won't be able to get the same deal.
 
Oooh, who knows how you will fare with another CM. Good luck! A three letter code sounds more like a public code than a PIN. At least you have something to provide the next CM, though they may not know what to do with it! Let us know how it turned out.

Maybe I will try your approach. I asked if I had a PIN attached to my name and was told no. If I get the nerve to try again, maybe I will just ask if there is free dining for my dates.

That's what I was thinking too. I'm going to call here soon to see.
 
I would love to know what the dining plus upgrade is??? I must have hit the pixie dust jackpot because every single pin that has been offered since last Sept. I have received.. I am using 2 for my next trip.. split stay 25% off first part of stay and 40% off second part.. Then, I also received the code for free dining.. but, it would have cost almost $400 extra.. Im NO mathamatician but thats not really a good deal..:rotfl2:
 

to get "upgrade" pins did you sign up for something special?

I booked our trip in August at the end of January and the only thing I have received is my invoice telling me how much more I owe before we come, this was through and email. I have no recevied anything in the mail.

Am I missing something??

You're not missing anything- I hadn't signed up for anything. I am as clueless as anyone about how the PIN system works. :confused3
 
So were you able to utilized the discount initially offered before the system went down or no?
