PIN code? AP code?

What are these? How does one acquire them? thanks to all who reply. Peace.

A "pin" code is one that comes in the mail. Its usually a bit larger than the typical post card....( been there done that MANY times and have never gotten a post card with a PIN code.)

An AP code is an Annual Passholder rate code....it is a discounted rate for resorts for those with Annual Passes.
this is most often referred to as an "AP Rate".

It's basically luck of the draw. There doesn't really seem to be an established pattern. This year, I've gotten 2 postcards, and 1 e-mail with a PIN, and I noticed I received them after ordering the planning video online. However, there are people out there who have ordered the planning video, and haven't received a code.
