I've seen advice on this board about how to fix a broken post, but I think I have a new "how to fix a break" type question.

The Pooh Light Up Christmas pin doesn't have the typical post on the back. It is a pin-back (I think that's the correct term) style pin. Like a button. If you have this pin you know how thin the pin-back part of the pin is. Well, I broke it. How do I fix it? Any ideas, or am I up a creek without a paddle?

Thanks for your help.

I don't know how hard it will be to take the back off, but you can buy replacement pin backs at Michaels or any craft store that sells jewelry making supplies. Bring the pin into the store so you can get the right size, they have so many different lengths.
Use either a thick type super glue or you can try soldering the back onto the pin. I would go for the thick glue though if you solder the wires you may mess it up.
My wires came off on one of my light up pins and we did solder it. It works fine now. Peggie

About the only glue I would even attempt a repair with would be a 2 part epoxy. It is far stronger than Crazy Glue. I have a pin like this, the Electrical Water Pageant Sea Serpent pin. I have not attempted a repair yet.
I am also going to look in to drilling and tapping some small machine screws in to it. Have to be leery of the electronics. You, and I may have to get it soldered or something like that.
