We have tried every pin back known to man or so it seems. The only ones we've found to not come off are the brass ones that lock. I love the look of the "specialty" ones but don't trust them with my favorite pins.

I found some gold rubber ones on ebay that are "guaranteed" to work better than the others and look better than the locking brass ones.

Anyone out there with an opinion or ideas and suggestions?

Thanks.

Try pencil erasers, buy a box of pencils and take the erasers off the end. If you need to cut them down you can. Use the erasers as pen backs, they don't seem to slide off easily. Can also use them in an emergency as backs for pierced earrings.

We were in the same boat DD was always losing the backs or the allenkey to take the backs off.
So we went to a small 5 X 7 pin bag and it works great. She displays her keepers on a curtian in her room so the backs really don't matter.

I use to just push a NEW hole in the Mickey backs rather then using the hole that was in it.
