my dd aged 8 needs to dress as a pilot for our local carnival in 2 weeks !!!! can anyone help with fancy dress costumes (ive tried ebay )

Try transair pilot shop - you could order the gold bars here and just put them on a plain white shirt. Does she wear a school Blazer - if so you could just put some gold braiding around the cuffs! If you want to go for the biggles look - transair have the white scarves and googles etc!
