Pilot Activity Program at All-Star Music

This pilot program is really nice.They have activities on the Calypso Pool deck such as bingo,a name-that-tune type contest,dancing,face-painting,a musicl chairs type game,etc.Most activities are geared toward kids,but adults have a good time too.They give away really nice prizes such as board games,etc.The highlight of the program is a nightly movie poolside.Last week such movies as Sky High and Cars were shown.If Guest feedback is positive,it may beacome a permanent program.

I just read about this on another thread - how cool! We're planning a stay in early November - do you know how long this is supposed to be around??

We just returned from ASMU and loved the activities . I wonder who to contact to tell them how great the entertainment was. We never have spent so much time at the resorts as we did this summer and really enjoyed it. I do hope to see it return every year as I know it is done at the HRH in Universal and we loved it there last year too.

The Cast Member I spoke with wasn't sure how long it would be continued-I don't think an ending date has been set.I think there is a reasonable chance it will still be happening in early November.

This sounds like so much fun. I can't wait. We will be there in a month and with DS2 we will be spending more time at the hotel due to naps etc. This will give DH and DD7 something to do while we will be napping. Thanks for the great tip.

What time of day do these activities happen?

I believe they started around 11 or so I could be wrong though. The day we checked in we got there around 2 and were at the pool after a walk to ASMO by 4 . We played bingo that day , they had a dance contest that day and we also saw a movie that night. The day we stayed at the hotel we saw a movie jump in and the theme for the night was jump rope. It was a lot of fun . Every night that we came back to the hotel before 9 pm there was a movie. I was very concerned with an all star resort but between the suites at ASMU and the entertainment we had a great trip
