Pillows at Deluxe resorts?

Hoping someone can answer this: what kind of pillows do the deluxe resorts use? DH and I usually stay at The Beach Club and he is obsessed with the pillows there. I'd love to get him a couple for Christmas but I have no idea what they use! Any way I can find out?

Good luck finding out. The pillows at AKL were absolutely heavenly; so much so that there was a thread with different people trying to find out their brand (other than Disney Resorts on the tag). The ideas they came up with such as Carpenter's Beyond Down were just not the same, and after awhile I just gave up. Buy oh my gosh they were divine! (We stayed at the BC last trip and their pillows did nothing for me; go figure.) lol

The ones at Bay Lake are also heavenly... I haven't stayed at AKL for several years.

I just assumed the pillows at all the deluxe resorts would be the same.

I've been looking at random down pillows online and I keep seeing people mention a bad smell... I've never noticed that at Disney but is that typical of down pillows?

Hmm. My husband is convinced that they were down, but maybe he's mistaken? I can't remember personally, I wasn't particularly focused on pillows in WDW!

I was given the phone number of the lady who orders these at DW and I went the the same sight she told me and ordered the exact pillow....wrong! I spent a pretty penny and the pillow is NOT even close. The pillows we love are firm and king sized. I could kick myself for NOT taking home the brochure that was in our room at Wilderness Lodge. It had alllll the bedding lines and order info. Since that trip (2009) I haven't seen that brochure. SOOOO upset with myself. IF you find it, there are many who would love to know the secret

Just wanted to update, after combing through a bunch of threads from years ago I think I have tracked them down, and they are Beyond Down pillows by Carpenter. (down alternative)

I Googled the pillow and on other sites lots of reviewers agree that these are in fact the pillows used in Disney DVC resorts.

Just as an FYI, I have seen several people say that the brochures in the rooms are NOT actually the same pillows. So don't feel too bad!

I have a link somewhere. I'll find it and post. We ordered the pillows after our first stay at AKVs in 2009 and yep, they were the SAME we had there. DIVINE! What I found most astounding is they were so comfy but inexpensive!

OK. This is the one we bought. VERY comfy! We LOVE these pillows!!!!! These are the Beyonddown pillows mentioned by a PP. Yes, they ARE the pillows! At least at the AKVs they were. SO NICE!

This is probably not going to come close to answering your question, but just got back from 12 nights at Beach Club so thought I'd share our experience...

Both queen beds had two soft (feather-type?) pillows plus two firmer (foam?) pillows. We mixed and matched, so they were all good to us.

I took a picture of the tag when we were there over Thanksgiving. It says Sobella (with 2 Ls) on one side of the small tag and Sobel Westex on the other side of the tag. The bigger tag says Distributed by Sobel Westex, www.sobelwestex.com. So, the second link that ppony posted looks to be a match to what we just slept on. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Dcl uses down, not too sure about the resorts though. I do know they are a huge improvement of what they used to be.
