I bought 2 white pillowcases and was going to have my husband make iron-ons on the computer for them. My only problem is that I need pictures to iron on!! My son loves Mickey Mouse and my daughter loves Ariel. OR a design of the cruise ship would be great!!Any suggestions or websites to look at?

I have a nice photo that you might be able to use, send me an e-mail message at apwalters55@comcast.net and I will e-mail you the photo. Just write "pillow case photo" in the subject line.

I went to castawayclub.com and used one of the wallpapers, of the magic at cc for my DD's pillow case and when I used the iron on paper the program let me type in words so I typed "Gina's First Magical Cruise 4-3-04" The case came out awesome even the people at customer service thought so!!!!

I was wondering how do the iron-ons hold up? Do they start to fade after a couple of washings? I would love to do something like that as long as it will last!

I've had nothing but positive results with the iron-on transfers. I made t-shirts 5 years ago, that still look very nice today, and they have been washed many, many times. I like using the Avery T-shirt Transfer Sheets, product #4271.

I used the same transfers as Verandahman, it came out beautiful. I haven't washed it yet and don't think I will. Its just for show. The only thing I found the directions said use the highest cotton setting without steam. I did that for like 10 minutes and it wouldn't transfer from the paper. Then I said just let me try the highest cotton setting with steam, and that worked perfectly. Good Luck!

I've always used the highest setting (on my iron it is 7), and you should only iron over the transfer for 2-3 minutes at the most. Also, I let the iron warm up about 5-7 minutes before I iron on the transfer.
