We saw it last night. It was a cute movie with a sweet story, though nothing phenomonal IMHO. The animation wasn't Disney's best, either. I did have a splitting migraine and barely made it through the movie, so I'm sure I would've enjoyed it more if I'd felt better.
Ds loved it, and it was a fun way to have family time. And as an Eeyore fan, I have to say he was the most entertaining of all the characters. Ds disagrees; he says Tigger was the best. All the songs are done by Carly Simon.
One thing I noticed (and this may have just been our theater?) but the colors in the movie seemed very muted and dull; not bright at all. I think it would've been a more "cheerful" movie if it was brighter.
Are you taking Hunter as well? We haven't tried going to the movies with Elliot yet. Usually, either DH or I take Mo to what she wants to see but this is a movie we would love to see all together. We have a thing for Piglet in this house. I figured if we brought him some snacks, a juice cup, and a bottle he would be okay. We might just have to risk it and go!
BUMMER!!...DH got stuck running to a job site for a while so now the movie is postponed till Monday afternoon.
DD is NOT happy!!
Bridget-
Yes we do plan on taking Hunter to the show. This will be his 2nd movie outing!! He saw The Lion King IMAX at the January Chicago DIS Meet.
We bought child size ear plugs for him, fed him lunch right before the movie, and had his Cheerios and a bottle. He did great!!! He loved watching the screen and all those pretty colors!! LOL!!
The ear plugs worked out great and didn't seem to irritate him at all. I don't even think he noticed they were in his ears.
I'll give my review on Monday afternoon I guess.
I hate waiting.......
