We are in the process of planning a trip to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood for next May or June and looking for suggestions on an affordable and safe campground in the area. It doesn't have to be as nice as the Fort, just want full hookups and easy access to the parkway. Any recommendations?

My wife and I have become fans of the SUN OUTDOORS at Pigeon Forge. Just off the Parkway. Has easy access to the road leading to DollyWood.

We've used Riveredge RV park. Small sites, affordable and safe. Close to DW.

We have used Riversedge before, little tight but nice and on Gatlinburg edge of pigeon forge so closer to park and Dollywood.

We had a Dismeet in 2021 and we stayed at Pine Mountain. It was off main drag, all paved, several sites backed up to streams.

I'll post pics from both later this evening

Little on the pricier side though huge level sites and killer wifi was The Ridge Outdoor Resort. We stayed there once and was impressed with the facility and the pool. I missed out on the Dismeet there due to a rescheduled trip. Though have Pine Mountain as another one to consider.

Sorry, had a delay.

Here is our site from 2017 at Riversedge. Like i said, certainly closer together, but it was on edge of Pigeon Forge so easier to get to Gatlinburg and the Park, but Dollywood was only a short piece down the road from here and also very easy to get to.
