Just got all caught up with your last few updates Brenda. It sounds like you had such a relaxing evening at the Belle Vu Room with DisFriends! I'll have to check this lounge out the next time we're in WDW Loved all the foodie pics of the F&W Festival and really enjoyed hearing about the tequilla taste testing event. My DH doesn't like tequilla so I'm afraid that I won't be going to this event in the future, but I certainly enjoyed your description and all the pics you posted.

Campechene is kinda' like cerviche on steroids - my favorite is at Jim Goode's seafood. You can get about as many different versions of the two as there are people who make it - so when you find one you like, you tend to stick with it.

I would LOVE to do a food itinerary for Htown (or NOLA, which is where we do our Big Eating.) Houston food is really starting to get attention, but we just don't seem to get out as much when we are here.

You've mentioned the weight issue a few times but, I have to say, I thought you looked downright thin in the full length shot of you and Jay at the ropes at Epcot. Not even a tummy on you and legs that look like twigs. The treadmill must be working very well for you

Hi Michelle! Thanks for popping in for a read! The Ditch is terrific - if you and Steve haven't had a chance to try it I think you'd really enjoy the drinks and atmosphere there.

Just remember Kat, you can always do your own tasting at the Ditch - they have different tequila flights listed in their bible.

You are my new best friend. Bless your heart ... I was sucking in my gut and all the cellulite has congregated on my inner thighs and ample behind. I know people don't believe me but I really did put on 20 pounds in the last year ... my doctor even told me to take it off (and not the way that sounds ... ). Thanks for your kind comment, though - it makes me feel like I don't look as bad as I think I do.

I can't believe that the button placement didn't get you freebies, but spilling your water all over the ditch did! Great review....if they continue to do the tequila tasting (and if I ever can get to the F&W Fest sans kiddies), I think I would definitely do one.

My review's disappeared, but I suggest doing the tequila tasting only if you are really interested in hearing the story about tequila and finding out how to taste it. That's interesting enough to hear once. If you just want some food and drink, take your $35 over to the Ditch on a regular day and buy yourself a tequila flight and some snacks and go for it. You'll have to kick in a bit more than $35 but you'll get more tequila.

When I was in Mexico in '05 I took a trip to an agave farm and tequila production facility so I had the story of how it's made already - but learning the different ways to taste from their special tequila glasses (they're supposedly not pouring your taste into wine glasses - those are specially shaped glasses for tasting tequila) was interesting also.

2. Kids - I got 'em and I wouldn't take them to the Bistro and they are good at restaurants!! 'nuff said!

Well, it looks like I'll have to live vicariously through your Vegas adventures this spring. Now that Jordan has extended her CP until the end of May, we won't be going this year. On the other hand, now we get to go to Alinea with all the money we're saving with no Vegas trip.
