Has anyone gotten really good photos of Spectro Magic or any of the firework displays? If you have what camera did you get them with. I have tried and tried but never very good pictures.

Thanks!

For great fireworks pics, I have found that a tripod or some sort of stabalizing (sp?) thingy is really important. Sad experiences, lol.

Is there a setting that you use to get them come out? I usually leave my camera on auto but had poor quality last trip.

I got some good pix of the fireworks, but haven't had much luck with the nightime parades. Do you think it's better with the flash on or off? I'll go check the photography boards too.

I can't believe I forgot to test my camera with the fireworks setting on 4th of July. The camera is new and I guess I'll have to cross my fingers for the firework pictures and spectromagic pictures.:worship: :cool1:

The flash will probably be useless unless you are right on top of the characters...which you won't be doing Spectro.
