We were at the party last Friday night! We loved the Haunted Mansion. The Cast Members that seated us on the ride were in full makeup and had cobwebs in their hair! They were really getting into it.

We are a family of 4 (dd is 8 and ds is 9) and we got tons of candy. My kids loved the area near Splash Mountain - they went through it 3 times! As we were leaving the park that night we went through the candy station where the Wishes Dessert Party usually is and the cast members gave my kids handfuls and handfuls of Toy Story fruit chews!

The rides were awesome that night. We didn't wait on any of them. We walked right on to Sapce Mountain. At Big Thunder, the CM told us there should be no line for that ride as they were running 5 trains. He was right. When we walked down the ramp to board the train, the CM told us to pick any row we wanted. We had the train to ourselves!

We had a great time and would definitely do it again!

They were pretty stingy with the candy.

This kinda ticks me off.

For what they charge, you ought to get a handful. And it ought to be a handful of Reese's PB cups and Kit Kats and such...not Smarties and Now and Laters.

Kathy, we were there on the 13th. Wish I knew you were there too, would have loved to meet you. Awesome pictures!
I thought the party was the best $ we spent all week. And my husband even got tired and left before midnight - I stayed till about 12:30ish. magical to walk down main street with the lights, and it being almost empty.
Getting the pic will all 7 dwarfs was a huge plus for me. And seeing the "ghost" in front of HM interacting with everyone was great.
I was happy with being able to walk right on most rides. I didnt see the parade/shows- I was too busy walking right on Splash Mountain several times in a row. Did watch the fireworks- amazing!
It wasnt huge amounts of candy, and some of it was the "cheap" candy. But I didn't expect too much of it. this was my first Halloween party. But I have been to the Christmas one, and the Pirates and Princess one. Pirates you got a bunch of cheap plastic baubles. Christmas was cookie/hot chocholate. So for the Extra you get in addition to having the park to yourself, I think the candy is still by far the best deal.

Thanks for sharing...we were there the week before.....should have waited 1 week and gone for the party....oh well...next time.
