Pictures from new A330 - PE and Economy *Updated Sunday 3/4

Brilliant, thanks for that Kevin! :thumbsup2 Think I still would prefer to fly on the 747 in the bubble though....I did wonder what the PE would look like on the airbus though!

It looks quite nice, but I agree - the configuration in the bubble was much nicer. The seats look fairly wide, but is it just me, or do they look kind of hard? As if you may need to turn around before disembarking and check that your rear end is still attached before you leave ...

Thanks for posting Kevin.
Glad thats not my seat, looks like seat back TV problems already:goodvibes I have chosen back row.
I will let you know how comfy in August Lee:thumbsup2

I can't wait to see the new cabin...but... sorry to question your source but are you certain this is the VS config or another airline?

I was immediately concerned due to the soft divider at the back of the PE cabin behind what are our seats in August which I think would really hack me off so checked the online seat plan which shows a lot of "stuff" like exits, WCs and galley between the back of PE and start of EC

I may be wrong but hopefully this is another airline because those seats don't look like they'll be comfy for long haul.

We flew back on a Heathrow 747 in November so had those leather PE seats - and they were just OK.

Personally I prefer the bubble :rolleyes1

However the photo shown above has been pulled from V-Flyer now along with other photos that were there yesterday - as there were some issues surrounding them to do with copyright and also it showed the cabin layout to be different to seating plans released - who knows but that is a good idea as to what the cabin will look like.

Either something wrong with the picture or Virgins seat map, they don't match.:rotfl:
I guess we will have to wait again:goodvibes

Wayne - the pictures are from Virgin. That's why they have been removed.

If they are authentic they will need to re-draw the seatmaps, I know I was expecting exits & toilets between me and economy, the picture showed nothing between.:confused3

Thanks Wayne. I'm flying CO in September though - just in case ;)

As long as it comes with the option free physio afterwards I will consider it.

They look more spacious than the old ones. Is it just the design of the seat that gives an illusion or are they actually bigger? I have photos taken in PE on the old planes, but not a full on view of the empty seats like Kevin has posted, so difficult to tell.

Yeah, looks like the seat plans need an update then. That's disappointing as it suggests they're going to cram more seats in than the seat plans show and also potentially that all of our provisional reservations might be worthless.

The main reason we went PE was as we wanted to guarantee having just a block of 2 seats so we wont be bothering anymore, typically now the seats in economy are in 2's and 4's we have a baby on the way

Oh well better book whilst he's still young enough to sit on a knee to make use of it :p
