Pictures at Character Meals

What is the best way to handle pictures at the character meals? Should you stay seated or stand by the character? What do most people do?

you can stay seated or stand with the characters. If you don't feel like standing, they won't mind. If you want to stand, they'll pose for you too. It's really up to you.

I like taking the pictures of the kids standing - that way I don't see the plates in the picture.

There are a few places where the tables are close enough to each other that it is hard to stand with the characters. We tend to just stay seated and haven't had a problem with it.

At The breasfastsaurus in AK. They came over and stood

At The princess dining in Epcot, they were funny and did whatever

We've done both, but I'd say I prefer the pictures of my DS standing. Getting from his chair to a standing position can sometimes be a little tricky, though. More than once he's almost fell out of the seat.

My DS mostly stayed seated for the pics and the characters stood next to him. They do recommend that you seat the kids facing out from the table to make it easier for the characters to come to them.
