Is there anywhere to get a photo with the grinch besides the special breakfast?

Last time we were at UO/IOA in Dec they still did the show outside and you waited in line to have your photo with the Grinch and his sleigh. It was really well done, a family fav.

I know the show is now inside ,so what about the whos and Grinch? Will we see them anywhere?

We were able to get a picture taken with him back in 2010 when he was in Seuss landing, think it was after the story time show.

We were there just a few weeks ago and saw the grinch multiple times, he was out for pictures with others like the lorax and the things a couple times, and he was just out and about a couple other times during our trip.

Oh good. We(especially me) wnat to get this pic. I would prefer the backdrop of the sleigh, or even outdoors instead of the characters at breakfast if possible. I am guessing by Dec 1 he'll be in X-mas attire.

We saw him and some of the others come out just for autographs and pictures last month. The show was canceled due to the threat of rain but the characters still came out.

The Grinch got little attention compared to the other characters. Some kids seem to be a little afraid of him, poor guy. ;)

Remember there are two different Grinch characters. The cartoon type character is around all year but the movie Grinch is only around during Grinchmas.

These pictures were taken in an area by the carousel on Thanksgiving Day last year. I used one of the pics I took of my kids with the Grinch for my Xmas card.

This was October 16th. The Grinch, Sam I Am and the Cat and the Hat were all near the One Fish Two Fish ride back by where they do the show. after the picture, he "flicked a booger" at my kids as they walked away. DD thought it was hysterical because she was singing "you're a mean one".

Seriously!? The grinch doesn't look like that all year, does he??
(Sorry... But I really think he is ugly! And not good ugly, ugly as in really bad costume!!)
I went to Universal Studios Hollywood on NYE and he was totally different than the pics in this thread :p

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, there are two Grinch costumes. The one pictured is the cartoon character but the one they have during Grinchmas only is from the movie. That's probably the one you saw at USH.

We were there last year in December. I believe there was a photo place with the Grinch set up in the bookstore (the one in the background of the pictures posted by pp) but unfortunately we didn't make it in there before it closed for the day. There was a sign that said photos with the Grinch outside of the shop.

We did not happen to see either version of the Grinch out walking around, at least not to my recollection.

We really enjoyed the show, looking forward to seeing it again in just a few weeks :cool1:

Aw, I think that the cartoon Grinch is cute. To each their own.

Lol.... I had no idea, that there was a cartoon version. :rotfl2: I've only seen the movie and thought that the one in the pictures above was made to look like the Grinch from the movie. That was why I thought the costume was made badly....
I thought it was ment to look like this Grinch... haha... ;)

That makes sense why you would think the cartoon version looked strange. The cartoon is shown at Christmas time on television and is available on DVD. It's based on the book by Dr. Seuss and looks just like the Grinch from the book.

You learn something new everyday ;) I'd never heard of the Grinch, until the movie came out...
Thanks for telling me! I'll have to look into it - i might be able to find the book or dvd somewhere here in Denmark :p

DD is in the cast of the Suess show! Took DGS in May and we were able to go back stage and get a picture with the entire cast. I love this picture!!!
